The people at Kunuk made our wedding week feel so special. We stayed there the week of our wedding this December 2025, along with several friends, and every staff member, from reception and the kitchen to the janitors and cleaners, was exceptional. Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism made them feel like friends and family. I loved talking with them, including the many young students with big aspirations who are working while pursuing careers. The hotel has a beautiful boutique design, but the staff are what make Kunuk what it is. I hope that never changes. The manager is an exceptional leader. They were so helpful during our short wedding photo shoot that morning, getting us whatever we needed. The day before the wedding, humidity had caused my dress to stain against the wood cabinets. Patricia the general manager immediately sent someone for cleaning supplies. The person who came to press my dress at the hotel should not have hung it against wood. We hope to come back regularly. It would be phenomenal if they offered some kind of membership. Thank you all for treating us so, so well!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. It's a luxurious, peaceful hotel with great rooms and a super comfortable bed. The pool area is relaxing, though it doesn't get much sun. I'd definitely stay again if I'm ever in Merida.

The included breakfast was delicious, the hotel is beautiful, and communication before the trip was great. But when I came back to my room on my first full day, I found that the housekeeper had taken all the money from my backpack. I felt really unsafe after that. I asked the hotel to refund what was stolen, and they refused. If it hadn't happened, I would've recommended the place highly, but it ruined my time in Merida.

The staff were the best part, every single person was caring, attentive, and genuinely friendly, going out of their way to make our stay lovely. Special thanks to dear Carla at reception, who kept thinking ahead and taking care of things before we even realized we needed them. Take care, Carla, and thank you! The hotel itself is an incredible gem. The rooms are spacious and well designed, the facilities are well maintained, and the breakfast and restaurant room is beautifully detailed. The pool area is lovely, and the bar serves great drinks at night. Breakfast was generous, varied, and very good quality.
