It's right by the US border crossing. The rooms are basic but clean. Most don't seem to have windows, and the walls are extremely thick, so it's quiet.

The furnishings were terrible, and you can hear everything from the rooms. We thought the photos showed a normal hotel, but what we found felt like a garbage dump. I'm shocked by the rooms. I'd rather stay at Hotel Del Norte, seriously. I wouldn't recommend this horror to anyone.

WARNING, DO NOT STAY HERE. I paid to reserve a room, but when I arrived they'd given it away and said there were no rooms available. They told me to find another hotel. I asked for a refund and was refused. Stay here at your own peril.

It's close to the border, about a five-minute walk to US Customs. The outside appearance might put you off, but the fourth-floor rooms have carpeting, air conditioning, and hot water.

For only $749 Mexican pesos, you get cable TV, carpet, AC, and hot water. It's close to the border and downtown Mexicali. That's all I need to say about this hotel!!!! 😎
