The apartment’s location was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a spacious one-bedroom with a balcony and a nice view. It was clean and had everything I needed. The bed felt firm but comfortable, and noise wasn’t a problem for me. I’d happily stay here again when I’m back in CDMX. There was some city noise at night, including the occasional emergency siren, plus morning honking. I’m a light sleeper, but it didn’t bother me. The apartment also had a normal balcony. It seems the lower three floors have enclosed balconies, while the floors above them through 22 have regular ones. One small hassle was the coffee pods. It would be helpful if the front desk sold them. I got a few from the coffee room, but recently there weren’t any there.

The location is great, though you can hear city noise. The photos make the place look much better than it is. It’s a very low-budget apartment complex that feels run-down and gross. The interior looks modern, but anyone wanting more comfort and attention to detail may be disappointed. You have to wash your own towels, and the laundry room is a bit gross. Fresh towels only come with a paid cleaning service, which costs US$60. The beds are small: we booked a king, but by US standards it was more like a twin. There’s a stale hostel smell around the complex, and the bed and pillows smelled a bit too. It could really use a deep clean.
We got a lot for the price, and the room turned out better than the online description. It was clean, spacious, open and modern, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. There was everything we needed, plus a Nespresso, filtered water, kitchen utensils, a blender and a kettle. The staff were welcoming. When we sent a question about the unit through the app, someone came up within five minutes. The place is definitely noisy, so be prepared for that, though earplugs are provided. For the price, it felt like a hidden gem in Mexico City, and I’d recommend Sonder La Cima.
We had a lovely stay at the La Cima location and always felt safe and comfortable coming back after a day exploring Mexico City. Sonder also let us store our luggage for free, which made early check-in and check-out easier and gave us time to explore. I was unsure about booking because there were no reviews at the time and recent comments said the descriptions were inaccurate. For the value and price, though, we were pleasantly surprised. The location was central to restaurants and galleries in Roma Norte, but the building sits on a big street. I slept fine, while my friends had more trouble with the noise. Earplugs are available. Our room had a beautiful city view, and we watched the sunset from the balcony most evenings. The simple, modern amenities were as described and the place was pretty clean. The one real issue was that the shower’s sliding door wouldn’t close all the way. We didn’t use the kitchen much or try services like laundry, but the kitchen looked fully equipped for cooking. The response time after requesting service through the app could be better.
We were worried about noise after reading the comments, especially since our room was on the second floor. But the terrace and a wall blocked it, and we didn’t hear any noise at all. The mini apartments are nicely furnished and well located. The staff were helpful, and having free laundry with detergent and drying included was a nice touch. We checked in after midnight and left at 5 AM a few days later. I’d stay again.
