Historico Central Hotel

The historic district has so much to see and do, and getting an Uber between the airport and hotel was easy. The location is perfect, the place is beautiful, and the breakfast was great. Every employee was outstanding, and our room was clean and comfortable. The 24-hour cafe and sandwich shop with everything included was a major plus. Best hotel we’ve stayed in. Stay here!

We stayed six nights and were comfortable throughout. The hotel is centrally located, and the staff were all warm and friendly. Our room was comfortable, and each floor has a small fridge stocked with bottled water, which we really appreciated. We took the metro to and from the airport and around the city, and found public transit easy to use. After checkout, the hotel let us leave our bags there, so we could spend a few more hours sightseeing before picking them up in the evening and heading to the airport. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I’ll choose this hotel again on our next Mexico City visit.

The breakfast and on-site cafe were a real treat, with a generous buffet or menu instead of the usual skimpy included breakfast. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, too. We didn’t try the free daily walking tour, though we heard good things about it. Many sights and shops are an easy walk from here. The rooms have charm, and I’ll stay here again the next time I’m in Mexico City.

The staff were pleasant, the rooms clean, and the beds comfortable. We had a street-facing balcony that wasn’t especially noisy, and the lobby is beautiful and a nice place to sit. The hotel is central, though traffic getting in and out of the district is rough from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The food was decent, and the room came with toiletries and other little extras. There’s also free food at the 24/7 cafe. The downsides: the rooms felt small for the price, Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the breakfast area gets loud and chaotic when it’s busy because it’s too small for the number of guests. The cafe women could be kind of mean, lol. English skills were okay. If you make use of the free food, it’s probably worth the rate. We didn’t, so I’m not sure we got our money’s worth, though it’s still a decent hotel.
