Hive Nápoles By G Hotels

I found the stay frustrating and wouldn’t recommend Hive Hotel. There’s no proper parking setup, which added stress, and noise from the bar came through because the rooms clearly aren’t well insulated. The shower was dirty, with hair on the floor. The valet service was especially concerning: my car was taken out with the windows open and music blaring. That felt disrespectful and unacceptable. The service overall came across as poor and unprofessional. If you’re choosing somewhere nearby, I’d strongly suggest the Bel-Air instead.

The terrace has a nice feel, with tidy landscaping and a clean layout. It works well for a relaxed weekend, though it can get windy enough to make sitting there for long less comfortable. A solid option, even if it didn’t really stand out.

There’s plenty around the hotel, including street food, cafés, a laundromat, bus stops, a shopping center, restaurants, and more. It’s by Insurgentes Street, with good Metrobus links into the city center, and Roma Norte is about 10-20 minutes away. The recent renovation makes it feel like good value for the price.

Hive Napoles was a comfortable, clean place to come back to after days spent exploring CDMX. Everyone was kind and patient while I worked on my Spanish, and the Rooftop Bar team were lovely too. They make a very good mezcalita. The hotel was close to the places I wanted to see, easy to find, and near a little plaza with shops to browse. I stayed four days and will book here again whenever I visit Ciudad de Mexico.
