Updated: The front desk staff were great, from check-in through after checkout, and the location turned out to be good, very walkable, with lots of nice cafes not far away. But we booked a couple of months ahead because we needed to work in the room on Friday and Monday, as we both do a lot of remote work. We also had late-night events, so sleeping in or taking midday naps mattered. It was just impossible to sleep in, nap, or get work done during the day. The rooms are very dated while you’re stuck with the renovation going on. The couch literally sank in around me, like I was sitting directly on the pull-out bed. One other thing, which I don’t usually mention: I had a $100 bill in my book bag, and when I got home it wasn’t there. I know I didn’t spend it.

The neighborhood feels calm and makes you want to explore, while the hotel puts you close to just about anything you might want. Tourist attractions are easy to reach, and it’s a comfortable place to rest. The staff are great. An excellent choice.

We had a really nice stay. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well located. The fare was good for what we got, though the design could use a refresh and the bathroom needs renovation.

The greenery and kind staff made a good impression on me. There are bistros, beatnik cafés, and some nice shops all within walking distance, and it’s a great location. Ridesharing is hugely popular here, and you can usually get around for less than 20 bucks. Highly recommend 👌.

If you’re visiting as a tourist, you’ll probably want to stay in Roma or Condesa. But if you need to be closer to Reforma and the Zona Rosa, I can recommend this hotel after my recent stay. Reforma and the Zona Rosa are walkable from here. The bed was comfortable, there was hot water, the room had plenty of space and closets, and the AC was quiet. If it fits your budget, it’s a good choice. I wanted to be near the 2025 Sunday mega procesion de catrinas event for dia de muertos in October. One thing I wish I’d known: breakfast wasn’t included. It cost 285 pesos when I went. There was a lot to choose from and the quality was average, so it could work if you’re in a hurry and can’t get a better breakfast nearby. I was disappointed to find there was a charge, since I only had a little taste of this and that and wasn’t excited about anything. I know Mexico City like a native and have some spectacular breakfast spots in mind: Cafe Nin, Gabi’s Cafe, and Qūentin.
