Hotel MX mas roma CDMX, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Hotel MX Roma was a lovely base in CDMX, right between Roma and Condesa and still very affordable. The rooms were clean, the staff were helpful, and breakfast was decent and included. It was quiet during the week, at least. I'd stay here again.

The terrace breakfast was tasty, and the location is great for getting to the main activities. But the room had constant noise, like an engine running in my ears, and I couldn't sleep. I had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. It was already very noisy when I arrived, so I asked staff to move me, but they said there were no other rooms. I mentioned it again at checkout, and they couldn't have cared less.

The included breakfast was basic but enough, and the staff were helpful. This isn't a luxury hotel, and your experience may depend on which room you get. We started in room 12, which was small and dark, beside what seemed to be a fan or generator cycling loudly every 30 seconds through the night. It wasn't good for sleeping. For our second night, they agreed to move us upstairs to a quieter, brighter room that was a little larger and had a separate seating area. The location is hard to beat for a visitor to cdmx, right in Roma Norte among restaurants, bars, and shops.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the breakfast. The rooms had a layout we really enjoyed, too. Great spot, with restaurants and sights within walking distance.
