Xoma Boutique Stays by Viadora

Casa Cleo was in a great spot, with good restaurants and shops just a few minutes’ walk away, and the area was very walkable. Our rooms were clean and well appointed. They provided bottled water each day and a light breakfast on the patio. The staff were always nice and helpful. If we get the chance to return to Mexico City, we’ll absolutely stay here again.

This place sets the bar for luxury and service. It’s a luxury apartment with a balcony, rooftop views, a warm pool, and a delicious continental breakfast. There’s also a washer and dryer in the basement. The building felt safe, and the door and front desk staff were wonderful. Everyone was kind and helpful. Guillermina was especially lovely to us, and the breakfast team were so professional, anticipating what we needed. I’m very selective, and this had everything I wanted for a stay. Give everyone there a raise, they deserve it!

The apartment felt more like a high-end home than a hotel, with lots of space and high-quality finishes. The huge marble bathroom had a bathtub and separate shower, plus nice amenities like lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and a good hairdryer. The kitchen was fully equipped, and tea, coffee, and water were complimentary. Housekeeping came daily. There are free laundry facilities in the building, with complimentary laundry pods for washing your own clothes. The apartment also had a record player, speaker, smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom, an iron and ironing board, and a balcony. Everything was very clean and the location was excellent. The 24/7 front desk and security were reassuring, and groceries or food ordered in were brought directly to the room. The main downside was a noticeable sewage smell in the hallways and elevators. It didn’t get into the apartment, but they should address it. On our last day, we asked them to book a taxi for 5:45 a.m., but it was mistakenly scheduled for 4:45 a.m., waking us an hour early. Annoying, though the staff were otherwise helpful and friendly. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

The neighborhood was a great base for walking around, and it was easy to reach other parts of the city too. Staff were friendly and always available. We spent five nights at Xoma and had a wonderful visit. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we’d stay here again on our next Mexico City trip.
