We got offered a complimentary late checkout at 4 pm, which worked perfectly for us. The rooms and beds were both big, too. The shower kept changing temperature a bit, but otherwise everything was good.

No fridge or microwave in the room, which was the one drawback. Otherwise, it was a nice stay: everything was clean, they provided water and shampoo, and check-in and checkout were basically available around the clock.

The travel agency described this as a four-star hotel when I booked the lodge, but it turned out to be a motel/hotel. I wish the agent had been upfront about that. Misleading a customer like this is poor business practice.

For the price, this place is a real bargain. It was clean, quiet, and had modern decor. There's a train track next door, but I never even noticed it.

The staff were friendly and really good, and the hotel itself was nice. It's also close to historic spots like villa de guadalupe.
