Metro Hostal Boutique

Ernesto really made the place. He was welcoming, all the staff were friendly, and most guests were easy to talk to. It's a relaxed hostel in Roma Norte, close to great taco spots, with lots of excursion options. The cat is adorable, too. We had a private room the whole stay. It was very clean, and for the price I can't complain. There's laundry service if you need it. One of my friends nearly left his headphones behind before our flight. The staff checked quickly and alerted him before we even asked. Shout-out to the Argentine worker and Macca paints, great dudes.

My stay at METRO Boutique Hostal was a mess from beginning to end, and the 'Boutique' label left me baffled. The facilities seemed badly maintained, and it felt like management was cutting corners. Staff came across as deeply unprofessional and unconcerned with basic hospitality or guests' comfort. The whole experience was frustrating and felt overpriced for what you get, a waste of time. I regret spending a cent here. If you want a comfortable, stress-free stay, look elsewhere.

The rooms were dirty and neglected, nothing like the online photos, and the noise made an already uncomfortable stay worse. The hygiene and hospitality were far below what I've experienced at other hostels. Staff acted as if guests were an inconvenience, and from the moment I arrived, I saw no sign of professional standards. Calling this a 'Boutique Hostal' feels like deceptive marketing for a run-down, poorly managed place. It seems management is just grabbing cash without putting money back into the property. Save your money and sleep on a park bench instead. This was an absolute bottom-tier experience.

They'd clearly given up on maintenance and basic hospitality, and choosing to stay here was the biggest mistake of my trip. There are plenty of better places nearby. Don't let the name or photos fool you. I wouldn't come back even if it were free.
