Pug Seal Polanco Anatole France

I had a very enjoyable stay, and the friendly, helpful service made a difference. The rooms were comfortable, with big beds, and breakfast came with fruit, coffee, juice, and then a hot dish such as a Mexican omelette. It’s on a quiet street, a few hundred yards from an upscale area with plenty of good restaurants. The hotel has the feel of a smart house, with lots of shared space. The area seemed very safe, with police clearly visible, and it’s a good base for exploring Mexico City.

The food was fantastic and better than we expected, and the room cleaning was meticulous. We felt safe walking to and from the hotel for food and shopping, even at night. It’s only a few blocks from Polanco’s shops and restaurants. Mexico City is loud, as some reviewers mention, but the city noise didn’t bother us. I hope I’ve got the names right: Fernando was a great breakfast waiter, Miguel served us at lunch, and Rodrigo was at the front desk. All were friendly, attentive, and helpful.

We’ll be back for more pug life. The staff were great and helped with everything we needed while travelling with a little one. Breakfast was included and excellent. Our room had a private deck and jacuzzi, and there’s cool art around the hotel. It’s within walking distance of good museums and parks. A great place to stay in CDMX.

There are lovely shared garden and rooftop spaces where you can read or work, and the rooms were comfortable, artistic, and had AC. The hotel is full of striking art and feels really unique. Staff were so kind and friendly, especially to people learning Spanish who aren’t native speakers. The food was delicious too. Highly recommend!
