RMS Hostal - WTC

The location makes everything easy to get to, including Oxxo, the shopping center, and Pepsi Center. It may look a little far, but it's actually just across the street. A shared bed is good value, and there are lockers if you bring your own padlock. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly all the time.

I picked it because I was going to the WTC, and the location was ideal. But the bed was in terrible shape, with an extremely uncomfortable mattress and very dirty sheets. There was nobody checking on things at night. While I was there, someone rang the bell over and over, and no one came to answer. I know it's budget lodging, but they should replace the mattresses and sheets in the rooms.

The atmosphere was toxic and stressful, and the cleaning staff were rude, constantly complaining to guests about having to do their jobs. They harass guests to get them to leave so they won't have to clean. It's a problem across the roommate hostels, and the owner seems unaware of what the staff are doing.

The terraces are really pleasant, and for the price it's in a very good location. The staff are lovely, shout-out to Batman and Alma. There is some noise and light coming through, but the staff are accommodating and can move you to another room if one is available.
