The Gallery by MyPlace

Our 5 day visit still has 1 day to go, and I'm already looking forward to leaving. It's been exhausting. The room wasn't clean by my standards, though management disagreed; my photos and videos would show what I mean. There was no air-conditioned and no screens in the widows, so the room got very hot by midday. The listing photos gave us the idea of a beautiful place, and I admit the common area is nice, but the room needs a deep cleaning. All my photos have been removed. My recommendation is to stand up for yourself and not let a place like this ruin your vacation. We work hard for our money and deserve to be treated with respect.

We'd been to Mexico City before, but this first stay at The Gallery Condesa was by far the most relaxing and enjoyable. It's run like an apartment rental, but breakfast is provided. The apartment was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, with a small kitchen and dining table, and the bed was really, really comfortable. Breakfast was complete with coffee, milk, juice, fruit, eggs, and bread, and they can make a typical Mexican breakfast if you like. The staff were friendly and approachable throughout. The neighborhood is one of the best in CDMX, green and calm, with various restaurants to choose from. A 5-star experience!

A nice, neat, clean place, and quiet during my two day stay. There is a shared dining area, a full fledged common kitchen, a TV room, and a green garden. Rooms on the topmost floors have skylights, so when it rains you hear the loud pitter-patter. I loved that. There are a few outlets with USB, plus a microwave, cutlery, and mini fridge. No stove in the room.

The room has a nice-sized private bathroom, plus a kitchen area with a sink and coffee pot, and a couch with space to sit. There’s also a widescreen TV with Netflix. It’s a timeshare I inherited from my family, and the staff are really friendly. The police is really awesome.
