Everything we needed was close by, including shopping, food, entertainment, and the river. The staff were friendly, the rooms were CLEAN, and there was air conditioning.

The man managing the place was kind and attentive, but the entrance had a strong smell of cigarettes and men's cologne at any time of day. That bothered me, especially since we were traveling with children. The Google photos are out of date, and the hotel badly needs maintenance. After more than 14 hours on the road with the kids, we had to rest here because nothing else was available in Minatitlán. The non-motel option we saw was in terrible shape outside. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with children, or to anyone particular about cleanliness.

The pool was my biggest issue. It was filthy, the floor was slippery, and it even seemed to smell bad. A big X for that. The rooms were modest, the restaurant never worked, and there was no room service. Otherwise, it was okay.
