The lobby is a good example of the mess here, and nearly everything looks heavily worn. My room hadn't been vacuumed, there was black hair in the shower, mildew in the corners, and the old mirrors were dirty along every edge. The whole building is under construction. I asked for a room near parking where I could see it because I had to leave very early, but got one as far from the parking as possible. Staff even asked me for cigarettes, which was extremely off-putting. For $161 usd, this was a terrible experience. Monterrey has plenty of other options, and I'd spend my money somewhere else until this place is cleaned up and made presentable.

The rooms facing the courtyard are a nice touch, and I enjoyed eating the really good breakfast out there. Renovation work is underway, so getting in through the back is a bit of a hassle, but I still like this hotel.

The included breakfast was a big plus, and the staff were accommodating. Margarita was especially lovely, personable, and helpful each morning. Our first visit to Monterrey was such a great trip, and staying here was a big part of that. The courtyard is beautiful and felt very safe. Can't wait to come back!

Margarita, who works at the free continental breakfast, made our mornings so much better. She was attentive, friendly, and always checked in to see what we needed. We had an amazing time here, and it was a perfect place for us to stay.

The breakfast was much better than I expected, with eggs, chilaquiles, cereal, and lots more. Margarita, one of the servers, was an absolute angel and kept checking that my friends and I were taken care of. We also loved the beautiful courtyard pool, and the front desk was helpful from the start. The hotel was very clean and quiet, and close to so many restaurants and stores. Our stay was worth every penny. I'll definitely return if I'm in Monterrey again.
