The air conditioning didn’t cool the room very well, and the fan made a lot of noise. Still, the rooms were spacious, and at 100 USD a night with breakfast included, it was decent value, if a little pricey. I stayed at Krystal Urban for two nights in November 2025. It’s a modern, clean hotel near La Huasteca national park, which is definitely worth visiting. The room had free water and coffee or tea, the lobby was large with nice seating, breakfast had plenty of hot options, and WiFi worked well. I’d likely stay again if I return.

I like the place overall, but the doors are really annoying. Around 8 in the morning, door slams woke me up. They make a very loud noise when someone closes them. I hope they can fix this.

The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean. The clerk was nice too. I didn’t try the amenities. It’s a bit far from downtown, though you can drive or take the bus. The San Pedro location is great, and I’d recommend it for a future visit.

I didn’t use the amenities. The place is far from downtown, and the driveway into the parking area is built for compact cars. Don’t try taking a full-size truck in, you’ll have trouble getting in and out. Starbucks closes at 6 pm.

We’ve stayed here several times because it’s easy to reach both of the city’s main avenues and my family home. The lobby and restaurant get extremely cold whenever someone comes or goes, since the sliding glass door opens all the way and lets in the cold wind. Even the staff were working in coats. Adding another glass door in the lobby would help.
