The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area had plenty of nice spots to relax. I loved the atmosphere and felt at home. The owner, Beto, is so friendly and helpful. We were happy enough to spend lots of time hanging out at the hostel, and it's a good place to meet people too.

It isn't fancy, but it's still one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Everything was clean while I was there, including the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Beto was a great host and made sure I felt welcome and comfortable the whole time. I especially liked how quiet it was and how well equipped the kitchen was. I'd stay here again anytime.

Our four-bed dorm was spacious and had separate lockers, and the beds were okay. The common area was quite nice, with a pleasant outdoor space as well. We stayed three nights, and the bathroom and kitchen were dirty the whole time. The trash was rarely cleared out. It was a good price, but I expected it to be a little cleaner.

There's a terrace, kitchen, living room and several toilets, all in a beautiful place super close to the center of Oaxaca. Outside, you can hang clothes and relax in the super comfy hammocks, or at the tables and chairs, with a bit of peace and quiet between the bustle of downtown. Check out the awesome food and craft market. Keep your mouth open in the garden and an avocado might fly straight into it :D The owner only started the hostel recently, so it's still rustic in places, and there's just one shower, which can mean a wait. But the people make it. Beto and his colleagues Elias and David were helpful, friendly and funny, and made me feel at home really quickly. It's very affordable, so I wasn't expecting marble floors, gold taps or box-spring mattresses ;-)

Beto, David, Mar, Sima, my friends! We loved staying at the hostel. It was the highlight of our trip. They're kind, generous, respectful, understanding and open-minded, and made it a warm, convenient place close to everything. Thanks for being patient with our twisted Spanish, for the great tea and for sharing stories. We love you. Kass and Reno
