The rooms are very nice, but some don’t have a/c, only ceiling fans. It gets so hot and humid at night that we had to sleep with our relatives next door. The host has a wonderful personality and was very understanding and trustworthy. Aside from that, Casa Colón seems to have a lot of promise and stability.

The staff are so polite and gracious, and the place made for a comfortable night. My room was okay, and they left two soaps and a little shampoo each day. The toiletries were really good.

The mattress was much too firm for me.

The back cottage is the one I'd choose. It's the biggest and most spacious, around 1900 pesos, though that could change since we only rented a room. The area is close to the center and very relaxing, with almost no noise. Service was really friendly, and I had a great stay. Bring an extra sheet in December, though, it gets unbearably cold 😬😅. I'd definitely return.
