Gustavo y Fernanda were the best, so friendly. We felt welcome from the very start, with a warm smile and a nice chat every day. The room had what we needed, including a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, and fresh water was left in the room daily. The location is great if you’d rather not stay right in the center. I’ll definitely book here again next time I stay overnight in Oaxaca city.

I got great value here, and the little coffee shop and restaurant downstairs was lovely. I had the best cafe de olla anywhere here. The staff were superb, and the simple room was clean. The central courtyard design helped cut down the everyday city noise, though being right in the thick of Oaxaca means you still hear some of daily life. A great, affordable hotel.

Fernanda at reception went out of her way to help, and everyone else was helpful too. I had a superb stay. The room was clean and spacious, with a good size shower, aircon, and fresh bottled water each day. My balcony faced the main road, so traffic noise was expected. I had earplugs and slept like a baby anyway. The area felt safe day and night, and the main square is about a 10 minute walk, with shops, bars, and restaurants along the way. A great experience for the price.
