Hotel Posada San Pedro

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and very nice. Prices are reasonable, starting at $300 pesos a night for one guest.

We ended up here after failing to book in time for December 25th and 26th, and the experience was rough. Cockroaches were visible, and I woke covered in bedbug bites and welts that still haven’t gone away. The toilet was more worn than one in a public restroom, the towels looked dirty so we didn’t use them, and the shower either sprayed water everywhere or gave only a few drops. The locks could be opened without a key, which felt very insecure. There was no hot water, not even during the hours management said it would be available. Please address the bedbug problem, since it’s regulated by law. I hope someone takes care of these issues. The location is very good, and the hotel seems to be trying to create a nice atmosphere, so I think it has a lot of potential. We’d gladly pay more if these things were fixed. On a trip, you want to enjoy yourself, not deal with extra problems.

I loved staying here. It’s welcoming and affordable, with what you need to enjoy the historic center. There’s a system for reserving lodging, and you can leave your belongings there. Whenever I visit Oaxaca, this is where I stay. In November, they decorate beautifully with handcrafted pieces that bring out Mexican culture.

Just awful. The place was ridiculously expensive for what you get, with no TV, no water at night, and hot water for barely more than an hour. The receptionist was incredibly rude, and there wasn’t even a phone. Nothing but a horrible stay. Cockroaches were the only thing missing 🤭
