Bokatrip Xochimilco

The shared kitchen worked well, and the place was consistently clean. We spent five weeks here and the space suited us. The staff are lovely, attentive, and helpful. The neighborhood is great, with parks and plazas, a good market, interesting coffee shops, restaurants, and music venues just a short walk away.

Bokatrip has really nice, helpful people who made the stay feel five-star. It’s right in the city center, with great food options all around. Our first room was quite small, but after one night we could easily upgrade to a much more comfortable one. We had an amazing stay.

We’d choose this place again when we’re back in Oaxaca. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with private toilets, and the location made it easy to walk to the city’s attractions. Communication and availability also made check-in and check-out very straightforward. Definitely recommended.

The host replied to our messages very quickly, which was a plus. Still, I wouldn’t recommend staying here when there are better options for the same price. Our room was small, had almost no storage, and wasn’t soundproof at all, so it was extremely noisy. There was just one bathroom hook, which didn’t seem enough for towels for two people. The room was reasonably clean in some places, but there were spots that looked like they’d never been cleaned, and the sheets were dusty and dirty when we arrived. We stayed three nights, and the shower swung between scalding hot once and ice cold the other times.
