The staff were so friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.

The staff really made this a great experience. When our flight was canceled on the last night and moved to later that day, they let us return to the room because checkout wasn’t until 11am. They also stored our bags in their lockers for free while we spent time in town, and said we could rest or nap in the rooftop lounging area. They’d called us a cab for the early flight, too. I liked the hotel a lot. It’s obviously not five-star, but it was comfortable, quiet, and affordable, and an easy walk from the Zocalo. The rooftop has a nice lounging area with good views. The staff were kind and helpful throughout, and I’ll definitely come back.

The suite was a decent size, and the rest of it was very clean. Service was good, and it’s close to the historic center. The bathroom, though, was too small and uncomfortable. The shower area wasn’t very clean, and there was water damage on the ceiling.

The rooms feel a bit dated. My bathroom was cramped, the toilet seat and lid had loose hinges, and the plumbing was a little awkward, probably because it’s an older hotel. There’s no A/C, and the room gets very hot in summer, so I was glad there were fans. Paper towels or napkins in the kitchen area would’ve been nice. The staff were amazing during my weeklong stay in high season. They were so friendly and happy to help with directions and recommendations. The central area is just two or three blocks away, with a pharmacy, Oxxo, and Telcell on the same street. The nicer restaurants and art district are about a 15-minute walk. The rooftop is wonderful, with stunning views.
