Oaxaca gets lively on weekends, with street noise and plenty of happy revelry. If that kind of sound bothers you, the town may not be for you. The hotel is right in the center, within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, and historic sights. Our room had modern conveniences, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. Some suites open onto an inner courtyard, while the smaller rooms have a lovely city view. I’d gladly stay here again.

The courtyard fountain made for a lovely, calming setting, and the whole place had a wonderful atmosphere. My room was gorgeous and had top of the line amenities. The service was just as good, with someone always around to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, with local coffee, fresh juices, and nicely presented traditional choices like chilequiles and chicken tortilla with mole. The location was so convenient for restaurants, museums, and markets. I’d come back and recommend it to everyone. If I could, I’d give it ten more stars. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had.

It was my first time in Oaxaca, where I came for a wedding, and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were warm and welcoming, and stayed flexible with my plans. They even arranged a lovely walking tour, which ended up being a highlight of the trip. The hotel is beautiful, and having breakfast in the courtyard was a lovely start to each day.

We’d never been to Oaxaca before, and Carlos helped us put together two full days of sightseeing with some great recommendations. Everyone on staff was kind and accommodating for our whole four-night stay. Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from, and we looked forward to it each morning. It’s a great base for walking around town, and the rooftop terrace has beautiful city views. My family and I loved staying here and can’t recommend it enough.
