The only thing I liked was the Temazcal. Staff were very friendly and tried to make up for the hotel’s poor condition, but the stay was bad overall. The pool was extremely dirty, and the rooms look just as they did ten years ago. It’s obvious there hasn’t been maintenance for a long time. There are much nicer places around Palenque, so don’t make the same mistake I did by assuming this hotel still has the prestige it used to.

The pool is large and well maintained, and there are dining facilities both indoors with AC and outdoors. The bar is well stocked. Staff were welcoming and cheerful. It’s close to Palenque Archiological Park. The rooms are smaller than you’d find in big cities, but they’re clean, comfortable, and have air conditioning.

The service was polite and straight to the point. The rooms are comfortable, though I couldn’t find some basics like shampoo or toothpaste. Its location helps you avoid a lot of traffic, but you have to cross half of Palenque’s streets to reach the center.
