Parras is such a beautiful town, full of lively people, but staying here was underwhelming and the hotel doesn't reflect that at all. The room felt untidy and like a health hazard, with missing lightbulbs and locks that seemed to be falling apart. The whole place feels old. There are no phones to call reception or anyone else, and at night nobody is at reception if you need help. There was just a small, curious old dog. The guy came over to ask what we were doing, but that was all. For the price, the hotel is mediocre. There's no air conditioning, and although parking was listed as included on booking.com, there isn't any, so you have to park on the street right in front. The staff aren't rude, but they aren't friendly either. They act like they're doing you a favor by letting you stay at an overpriced hotel. It's a good example of how limited options and abusive staff make a disastrous combination.
