Affordable and clean, with good service. I had a shared room with two bunk beds and the woman in charge was friendly. I only stayed one night, so it did the job for sleeping.

The walls are so thin you can hear everything, and our stay of less than a week was awful. A group of about eight loud, drunk people rented the room next door. Every night from 5 p.m. until 4 a.m., they played music at full volume, drank, and smoked. When we complained to the young managers, Alejandro and Jose, they refused to speak to the group and seemed to prefer that we leave. They say there are rules, but nobody follows them. Since it’s practically a hostel, I wouldn’t recommend it to a quiet student or anyone with a medical condition.

The room is very small, with its own bathroom, while the kitchen, stove, refrigerator, and living room are shared. It can be rented by the day, week, or month, and costs $2000 per month. The location is excellent if someone you love is hospitalized at the IMSS General Hospital Manuel Ávila Camacho, San José.

Thanks to Alejandro for the hospitality. This is an affordable, comfortable hostel close to several places of interest. The facilities are all new, and the kitchen has everything you need.
