I won't stay here again. After we woke up, we found what looked like blood stains on the sheets. I took photos and brought them to the front desk, but the staff member showed no concern and didn't apologize. He asked me to send the pictures to his WhatsApp, which I did, and then nothing happened. No apology or compensation. The front desk staff need retraining or replacing; their attitude really brings down the property.

The room doors don't block sound very well. Still, the hotel was clean, and the rooms were roomy with plenty of space. Breakfast was good and enough to get the day started.

The rooms were a good size and really comfortable, and the staff were very kind. Breakfast was great too.

The bathroom had an odd smell, though closing the door took care of it. I had to leave my Airbnb and was glad to find this place: the room was huge, breakfast was delicious, and there was even a pool.

We arrived in an unfamiliar city with children and had nowhere to stay, even though we had a confirmed reservation. I'd booked online the day before for my brother-in-law and nephew, but the hotel said it was full and had no rooms. The front desk woman showed no empathy or interest in finding a solution. Confirming a booking they can't honor is irresponsible and unacceptable. I don't recommend Hotel 5 de Mayo in Puebla, and I wouldn't trust their service again.
