We loved having the corner room with its two balconies. There was some street noise, but earplugs did the trick, and we enjoy being in the middle of a city. Everything was close by, the staff were very friendly even though we speak little Spanish, and the bathroom was beautiful. The shower took a while to heat up. A really enjoyable stay.

Gorgeous hotel, wonderful staff, and an amazing stay for such an affordable price. The only drawback was slow Wi-Fi in the rooms. I’ll be back.

The hotel is pretty, the location is good, and the restaurant/cafeteria serves very good food. The women cooking and serving breakfast were extremely kind. They were short-staffed that morning, so service was a bit slow, but we understood and they apologized. No complaints about them. What spoiled the stay was the poor organization at reception and in the administration. There’s no parking garage at the hotel, but they said they had an arrangement with the garage at the convention center. In practice, nobody seemed to communicate, and when something went wrong nobody could fix it. They just kept saying, “I don’t have the authority.” The manager didn’t step in with a solution, leaving employees to do what they could without the power to make decisions. It became a headache. Our problem started when we returned from an event after midnight. The garage guard knew and recognized that we were staying at Hotel Milagro, but wouldn’t let us in because someone at hotel reception had forgotten to notify the garage. We weren’t even allowed to pay for the night ourselves. They simply refused the car entry. We drove around for an hour looking for parking, but all the nearby garages were already closed. Eventually, a guy from the hotel called a nearby hotel, where they let us park. It was a bad experience. The following night we moved there because we didn’t want to stay at Hotel Milagro, and that was the best decision. The Wi-Fi connection was also shaky and hard to find. They have several routers, but the receptionist couldn’t tell us which one to use. If you’re staying here without a car or cell phone, ask for a room that doesn’t face the street. Saturday night gets quite noisy because of a low-class bar on the same street, with people singing and yelling into the early hours. There are still pandemic disinfection mats at the entrance, and people trip over them. Really annoying. I made the reservation through booking . com and wanted to leave a one-star review, but the link was broken. I assume the hotel didn’t want a bad review on its profile and had something to do with the broken link, though I can’t know that for sure. We won’t return or recommend this hotel.

We found this a really good stay for the price. It’s right by everything in Puebla’s historic center, and the room was lovely, especially the little balcony where we could sit outside. The hostesses were great about helping us plan and sharing advice. There are two air conditioners, but the portable one has no hose to vent the hot air, so that part could be better.

The little hotel cafe looked cute, though we never got to try it. Our room itself was spotless and roomy, and even though it was on a corner facing the street, the noise didn’t keep us up. The bathtub was a fun surprise, with a spacious shower room as well.
