I only needed a place for one night, thankfully, but it wasn't worth it. The WiFi was terrible, and the old, basic rooms smelled of cigar smoke, old ropes, and humidity. They tried to mask the odor with deodorant right in front of me, saying it was done and there'd be no more smell. I asked to change rooms, and they sprayed even more deodorant around the place. Book somewhere else and avoid this hotel.

I paid extra for a hotel with a Hot Tub because some medical conditions mean I need hot water therapy. The hot tub didn't work at all while we were at Villa Florida. There are plenty of other hotels with much nicer rooms for significantly less.

It's clean and inexpensive, and that's about all there is to say.

The terrace is a real plus, and the indoor pool, jacuzzi, business center, and handy laundry room are useful too. The hotel is in a great spot and was very clean. My only letdown was the front desk service, which felt a bit curt and rude.

The setting is lovely, with nice decorations, though it can get a little noisy. I enjoyed the lunch: tasty food, plenty of juice flavors, omelets, Mexican dishes, and good bread.
