ROOM Hotel & Suites

I chose this place because it was close to the hospital where my sick mother gets care. We were coming from Veracruz to Puebla, and they required a deposit before letting me book. Today I tried to cancel because of the insecurity and conflicts going on in our country, but the young man who says his name is Eduardo San Pedro León, and wouldn't give me his real name, refused to refund me. He wouldn't even check with his superiors. He was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to make any allowance for this unusual situation, despite the reasons I explained.

It’s a roomy, pleasant place and seems well suited to a weekend away. The food was delicious and the service was mostly good. One thing to check before booking: the air conditioning, microwave, and refrigerator weren’t working, so make sure the amenities are available.

Getting there is easy, though it’s a little far from the city center. The rooms have plenty of space and are well equipped. There’s no elevator, and the parking is open air, but security is always there. I’d recommend it.

I slept well during my two-night stay. It’s a private place to unwind, and reception gives you a code to get in.
