For a dorm room on a weekday, it was only 175 pesos, and you can’t beat that price or the service. The zocalo is a 10-15 minute walk away. Jose Luis is a wonderful host, and the service is exceptional. The beds are new and super comfortable, and there are several clean showers. It’s very quiet, so I got a good night’s rest. The huge living room has lots of really comfortable couches, and the terrace and roof top patio are lovely places to relax after a long day playing tourist.

I celebrated my birthday at this great hostel and had a wonderful time. The manager, Manuel, was extremely helpful. He recommended a great taco place nearby and some bars, then even showed us a bar and joined us for one drink. The rooms and breakfast were great, too. I’ve recommended this hostel to everybody.
