We only ended up here because our previous hotel overbooked us, and that worked out in our favor. The patio has a terrific ocean view, even though the beach is about a block away. The place is quiet, clean, secure, and close to the things you need. The owners and staff are friendly, respectful, and accommodating. There’s Wi-Fi, hot water, A.C., stocked kitchenettes, and a TV if you need one. We’ll be back.

I love the size of Mili, around 10 rooms, so there aren’t crowds of people wandering around. It’s private and secure, with places to eat and surf within walking distance. The patio is far enough from the main street that the noise doesn’t keep you up, but you can still see the surf. The beach is two blocks away, and the host is fantastic. I’m staying here every time.

We planned on two weeks, then stayed four because the apartment felt like home. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood, about a 25-minute walk from the lively scene in La Punta. The Wi-Fi was excellent, the kitchen fully equipped, and the mattresses were amazing. The apartment was spotless and nicely decorated, with a breathtaking view from the balcony and jacuzzi. Milli and Waldo live on-site and were always available to help. When I fractured my hand, they drove us to a clinic and waited nearly an hour to make sure we understood the doctor’s instructions in Spanish. We were so grateful that we invited them to dinner, which became one of the highlights of our stay. This was our best experience in Brisas de Zicatela by far. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll stay with Milli and her son Waldo again. Thank you both, we hope to see you soon! 🥰

The shaded outdoor spaces are such a nice place to relax and watch the surf. The house has a lovely mix of comfort and culture, with handiwork and unusual furnishings throughout, and the attention to detail really shows. The hosts always make me feel at home and share local knowledge, including hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. They’re around with suggestions for eateries and cultural experiences, and make me feel like family. It’s always a pleasure to stay here. If you want a beautiful setting, warm hospitality, and surf culture, I can’t recommend this house enough.

The veranda view and breeze were incredible, and everything was spotless. Molly and her son Waldo were caring, fantastic hosts who went out of their way to help. We were lucky our son found this place. Not staying here would be an awesome mistake.
