One Puerto Vallarta Aeropuerto

Absolutely terrible. Watch out if you book online, they may try to charge you twice. It’s only five minutes from the airport, but they weren’t able to accommodate tourists, and nobody speaks English, so communication was awful. There was no hot water from either the sink or shower. They have signs asking guests to conserve water, but no hot water at all, not even lukewarm, isn’t the way to do that. I waited nearly 45 minutes for it to warm up. Such a waste. No water or cups in the rooms, and drinking from the tap will leave your stomach feeling awful and unable to hold anything in. The sheets and towels had stains. They have a pool, breakfast, computer access, and a ping pong table, but that seems dressed up to distract from the real problems you’ll find. Good luck to anyone who stays!

We checked in at 4:30 p.m. and tried to shower, but there was no hot water. There were no facecloths either. When I asked the front desk for another towel, they said they didn’t have any, then gave us a very rough brown one meant for the pool. Still no hot water at 7:00 the next morning. The buffet breakfast was okay, with very limited choices. Electrical wires hung from the TV wall mount, which seemed dangerous. There also wasn’t a plug beside the bed for a sleep app machine.

It’s a very basic hotel, with continental breakfast and access to the rooftop pool as the main extras. I’m not sure every room is like ours, but ours didn’t seem to have a balcony.

If you arrive in Puerto Vallarta without much of a plan, this is a good option. From the airport exit, it’s a quick seven-minute walk to the right.
