We spent six days at the resort with our family, including our 10-month-old grandson, and got the relaxing time together we were hoping for. We stayed in ocean-view casitas and tried Dos Catrinas, Bahia, and Aramara twice each. They each have their own feel, and we enjoyed all three. Breakfast at Dos Catrinas was especially relaxing and good. Most days we sat by the beautiful infinity pool or on the beach. The staff there were attentive and happy to bring tacos, drinks, or treats. My son and I also enjoyed a Mezcal tasting. It was excellent, even for someone like me who usually prefers wine or tequila. The service was great throughout. Thanks especially to Resort Manager Denis Espina and the Reservations staff for being attentive to our special needs after one person in our group had recent surgery. You don't choose a Four Seasons property for a budget trip, but for a special, memorable, dependable stay. Four Seasons Punta Mita delivered.

The facilities are great, and the spa is beautifully designed. The beach is good for swimming, breakfast is delicious, and the golf course is immaculate and beautiful, one of the best I've played. The decorative pillows in the hotel are lovely too. Food is good, but expensive. I understand it's a five-star hotel, but at other Four Seasons hotels lunch or dinner is around $40 USD, while here it's about $60 USD per person. The hotel could use more music and activity during the day, and the staff could engage more with guests. More beach servers would help. I also would've liked a handwritten note with the welcome gift in the room. The AC in guest rooms needs fixing: the lowest setting is 21.5, and it makes a lot of noise. After the hotel noticed my review, they didn't send the survey they usually send at the end. I politely asked for it, but got no response. That's why I'm taking off two stars.

The views, the greenery on walks around the property, the gym, and the service were all decent. The rooms felt dated, with damage to the tiles, walls, and doors, and there was a bad smell. It didn't feel worthy of a five-star price. The food wasn't good enough for a hotel like Four Seasons, and breakfast was mediocre. We didn't find it worth the cost and won't be coming back.

The infinity pool looked like it was part of the ocean, and the views were a major highlight. The staff were so kind and generous, especially Juan Luis, Manny and, David. Juan Luis became my youngest daughter's best friend! The rooms were spacious and welcoming. They even gave us drinks and popsicles, popcorn, guacamole, and everything for making a margarita in our room. The girls loved our mini plunge pool and huge deck. That's all I can say!

Room 1403 opened right onto the beach, and it was spacious, nicely appointed, and had a top-notch bed. Having a washer and dryer just outside our door was handy. Staff were professional everywhere, and anything we ordered at the pool or beach came quickly. We also liked the free ice cream and mini drinks they served throughout the day. My wife and I usually keep busy on trips, but this time we wanted to relax at the resort, and it was perfect for that. The Mez bar is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset and look over the property. A few hundred yards down the road, there are pickleball courts that were easy to arrange. Some spa services, including the sauna and cold plunge, were free, which we loved. It's not cheap, but for a relaxing stay, it's one of my favorite Four Seasons properties.
