The place is roughly a 3 km walk from town, and the room was in awful shape. It was filthy and smelled horrible, the pool was dirty too, and there was no toilet paper or water. The mattresses seemed about 20 years old. The windows wouldn't lock, and there were no screens or bars. If you're a budget backpacker, it might work since it sleeps six.

We were left without running water or drinking water. Nobody came to take out the trash or clean the pool or restrooms. When we call the owner, she hangs up on us. Don't stay here!

I went in November and had one of my best trips ever. It was comfortable and fun, and Elias gave excellent service. Maybe things had been rough under the previous administration, but my experience was great.

It's a cabin-style hotel with a bar and music at night. The prices are attractive, and there's also a grocery store selling beer and wine. It's not close to the beach, though, about a 5-10 minute drive. Everything else was good.
