The breakfast was a real highlight. Since I eat vegan, the chef kindly made me tasty dishes that weren't on the menu, and I'd suggest adding breakfast to your stay. The room was so comfortable too, with a great bed, silky sheets, and a hot, strong shower. The hotel is lovely and right in the heart of San Cristobal. I'll stay here again if I return.

The restored estate home has a cozy, lovely feel, and there was drinking water available on tap. I especially liked the raindrop shower, with strong pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a good variety to set us up for exploring San Cristóbal. The staff were kind and accommodating from the moment we arrived, and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We'd happily return.

The restaurant is a great spot for breakfast, even if you're not staying at the hotel. You can sit in the courtyard or in the lovely, well kept garden, and the waiter service is top notch. Our room was quiet from outside noise because its windows faced inward, and the bed was comfortable with hot water in the shower all the time. The location made it easy to walk to most places. We left the car in the free parking lot until checkout. The staff were superb and always ready to help, and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. They really live up to the name “family house.” It was better than I expected, and I'll stay here again next time I'm in San Cristobal.

A hotel with plenty of character, and the staff were friendly and gave excellent service. We had a room issue, but they handled it professionally and kindly. I'd recommend staying here.
