Taller de Juan - Casa Hotel

We felt so welcome throughout our stay, thanks to staff who were kind, professional, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully kept, and breakfast was fresh, generous, and delicious. The hotel has a relaxing atmosphere and a great location. Fantastic stay, we'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The room was very noisy from the street, especially in the morning. It didn't bother me, though others might find it difficult. The bed was huge and comfortable but creaked a lot, and I appreciated the daily housekeeping. The decor is classy with some nice touches. Staff were really nice and helpful, and the location is good, about a 5-10 minute walk to bars, restaurants, and the zocalo. There was no TV or air conditioning in the room, which may not have been advertised, but I was surprised. Coffee was great, the pork belly main was 6/10, and service in the dining area was good. I was surprised this is called a 4-star hotel, probably because I was unfairly comparing it with Europe. It was a good hotel, but at £120 a night in the quiet season, I expected more and didn't think it was good value.

We found Taller de Juan while walking around downtown SanCris, and it looked better than all the other hostels and hotels. It's a hidden gem, so how is it only three stars? The place is beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and we even had a turntable with cool Jazz LPs to set the mood, plus nice linen and bathrobes. The service was great all around. They kindly let us check in early and gave us welcome beverages. I already want to return.

The food was very good, and the location was great. The hotel is beautiful, with charming interiors and a lovely atmosphere, and the staff are friendly.
