The location is good, but the hotel doesn't justify the price. Rooms facing the street are unbearable because of the noise that goes on until 4 a.m. In January, there was no gas to heat the rooftop, so having breakfast at 5 degrees was unacceptable. The spa was good, but the staff kept chasing me for a tip all the way to my room. We paid 800 USD and expected a much higher level of service and attention.

I got sick while staying here, and the staff went above and beyond to help, even going to the pharmacy for me. The rooms and bathrooms are gorgeous, the location is prime, and the service was outstanding. Best hotel.

We had an amazing time. The hotel is right in the historical center, so we could walk everywhere, and it stayed pretty quiet indoors even during the day. Service was excellent too. They found last-minute flowers for my wife and booked us a massage that same day without any trouble. In Mexico, get WhatsApp so you can contact the hotel concierge or reception directly. Breakfast is included and delicious, with great coffee choices at the rooftop restaurant. Give yourself time, though, since it usually takes about 45 minutes. A couple of small things to know: the glass in the room doors lets in some light, and you can hear people talking in the hall. That wasn't a problem for us. The rooftop bar plays loud music in the evening, but it ends around 10:30-11 p.m. It may bother you if you go to bed early. We went out for a drink and had a great time.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to do kind things for my wife, who is very pregnant. Casa 63 is a charming, beautifully built boutique hotel in one of the best parts of town. We can be snobbish about hotels, but this one can stand with the best. I suspect it’ll be hard to book a year from now, and even if you can get a room, I can’t imagine it’ll still be at such a fair price.

Casa 63 is right in the heart of San Miguel De Allende, just one block from centro, with everything a short walk away. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, new, clean, and modern, with reliable hot water and bathrooms stocked with amenities. Service was exceptional: everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help make the stay wonderful. The open-air restaurant and bar upstairs is beautiful, and the cathedral views are lovely, especially from the roof. Breakfast came with the room and was delicious every time, with lots of choices from the kitchen. I’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again.
