Mi Casa en Cozumel

We had to change our accommodation at the last minute, and arranging a reservation with Mi Casa en Cozumel over WhatsApp was easy. The location worked well for us, a little way into town but close to the main road for getting a taxi. There's an empanada stand right next door, open until noon, which was a nice bonus. With just nine rooms, the place feels comfortable and homey. The open-air interior gets lovely breezes, and the trees shade the balconies. It was a fantastic find, and I'd happily stay again or recommend it to anyone visiting Cozumel.

I spent a week in the Mango Room and would happily stay at Mi Casa again. It was spacious and comfortable, and I liked having the small kitchen set apart from the bedroom as well as a private outdoor seating area. Breakfast each day was great. The location was ideal for me, close to the waterfront but quiet. The big Soriana supermarket is about a 10-minute walk, and there are loads of restaurants and cafes easy to reach on foot.

I usually don't give five stars unless a place really earns them, and Mi Casa did. The location is handy for walking to the pier, yet it's still quiet, with lovely natural surroundings and elegant design. Staff were friendly and flexible, and could store bags before or after a stay if needed. Breakfast was good and served until 10. My room was just right: a spacious bathroom, very hot shower water, and a terrace with a tree that gave it privacy and a natural feel. There was even a mini fridge and water jug outside the door. The price was great, and I really didn't want to leave. I wish my rental in PDC were this nice.

My husband and I wanted an affordable, low-key place in Cozumel, and Mi Casa en Cozumel was exactly that. We stayed in the Mango room, which was a handy spot to walk around Centro, visit stores, restaurants, and bars, then pop back for a quick break before heading out again. Our hosts were easygoing and friendly, and breakfast hit the spot every morning.
