La Joya Sayulita

The views were breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the whole property felt peaceful and thoughtfully designed, tucked between jungle and ocean. I felt at ease as soon as I arrived at La Joya Sayulita. The staff were warm, attentive, genuinely kind, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and cared for. I loved my morning coffee overlooking the water, and dinner at Tekuamana was one of the highlights of my stay. If you're looking to unwind, reconnect, and feel spoiled in the best way, I can't recommend this place enough. Already looking forward to going back.

I spent nine days in Sayulita and chose La Joya for my birthday. The day pass cost 1800 pesos, with 1000 pesos credited toward food and drinks, so it felt like great value. The property is one of the most beautiful hotels or resorts I've visited in the area. There's a saltwater pool, sauna, ice bath, and direct beach access. If you plan to spend most of the day there, it's absolutely worth it and gives you a lovely mix of relaxation and luxury. It's a bit of a walk from town, so I'd recommend a taxi or Uber.

The setting is genuinely peaceful and private, with the rooms spaced apart so it never felt crowded or noisy. It's surrounded by beautiful jungle, with no roaming dogs or chickens, just tranquility. Town is only a short, inexpensive cab ride away. It's hard to choose between the rare, outstanding staff and the location. You can go from ocean to pool to hot tub and even an ice bath without leaving the property. The comfort, beauty, and food all deliver, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently impressive. A truly special stay, and I can see why this place has so many five-star reviews.
