Hotel El Molino by Quinta Sauz

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and generally fine. The trouble was breakfast on our departure day: we were a large group, but there was just one cook and one waiter, so the food took an hour. I understand they may not have enough customers to staff the kitchen more fully, but guests should be told to expect that kind of wait. It was very annoying.

The building has a nice structure and a very good location. The restaurant staff were better, or at least seemed more used to providing a service we pay for instead of acting as though they were doing us a favor. The reception and service staff were rude and unhelpful, doing the bare minimum and not even managing that. The rooms have broken furniture, and the walls let through EVERYTHING from neighboring rooms. That’s why other options are taking advantage of your order, gentlemen.

Such a peaceful, relaxing place to stay.

The location and view were the only things I liked. Reception staff were rude on every shift, the Wi-Fi often left us without internet, and there was no phone to call reception. The restaurant was extremely slow, and the food was terrible. They didn’t even have avocados, despite this being a growing region.
