The hotel has a comfortable, nostalgic feel. The reception, foyer, and dining area all reminded me of a grand old hotel from the past. The service was great overall, and we plan to stay there next time we're in Tampico.

Before spending the day walking around the lovely El Centro Historico neighborhood, I had breakfast and took my time over coffee in the hotel restaurant. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend the restaurant. My waiter was a very friendly gentleman; we had a nice chat, and he explained how street parking in El Centro works. I'm also very pleased that the current owners put in the time, money, and effort to save this beautiful historic building. I wish the other historic buildings in the area could get the same attention.

Everyone was pleasant to deal with, and I enjoyed staying in this nice, old-fashioned classical hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the price was decent. Breakfast was the letdown: it was mediocre and cost extra, while I've stayed elsewhere with better food included in the price.

The place was well situated for the town centre, and my room was tidy and clean. Parking at the hotel was okay too. The room could have used tea and coffee facilities, and maybe some water, but otherwise it was fine.
