The employees were a major plus. Everyone was very nice and helpful, both the morning and overnight crews. The hotel breakfast was delicious, but it costs extra and isn’t included in your stay. I booked a suite expecting it to be better cared for than an average room, but paying more didn’t mean getting more. The bed was nice but very short, the shower drain was clogged, and the toilet didn’t look great. There weren’t enough power outlets, so charging phones would be extremely difficult if you came with four or more people. You’d need to buy an extension cord. The A/C units were extremely old and didn’t cool the room as much as I wanted. The one in the suite’s seating area was worse, just blowing air without making the room cooler, and I couldn’t tell if it even worked. The hotel needs major remodeling if it wants return customers.

For Tecoman, there aren’t many decent options, so I’m giving this place a two. They’re trying to keep it clean, but they miss the details. Lily at the front desk was extremely rude and shouldn’t be in customer service. The pool area looks nice, but the water is like a swamp and you can’t see through it. Their idea of maintaining the pool seems to be adding more chlorine. The restaurant food was okay, but the service was subpar, even for Mexico. We found a bug in our bed. Bed bugs? If you want a nice stay, keep looking.
