The food was good and fairly priced, and the place works well if you mainly need a bed for the night. It’s an easy walk to the gate behind the Pyramid of the Sun. The beds are the usual hard cement pedestals, which I actually like. Just believe the warnings about there being no hot water. Also, the doors are shut from 6 to 8 pm, so plan around that if you need to go out.

I held an event with Vicalis and had a great time. The place is comfortable rather than fancy, and breakfast was tasty. There’s a fireplace and a temazcal, and it’s right in front of the piramids. Several guards watched over the whole property all night, which made it feel very secure. The staff were kind and flexible with what we needed. They also suggested some great local activities, including a restaurant, an ATV tour, and a sky balloon flight. The prices were affordable.

We were ten adults and four kids, and the staff took care of every request with real kindness. Just remember that the glamping still has a camping side to it. We loved the temazcal experience.

The molcajete is easily their best dish, so get that if you eat here. The sopes are delicious too. Service was attentive and the prices were amazing.
