The restaurant deserves a mention too, with top notch dishes in an awesome location. We saw several natural pools overlooking the amazing Amatlán mountain range, and the magic was palpable. You have to bring your own magic, though. My wife had the wonderful idea of bringing us here, and it blew my mind. Beneath the new age facade, there’s a real ancestral secret. Real contact with the ether may be possible here if the conditions and the magic you bring are compatible with what lies in Astral Travel. Planning to return. The experience was simply overwhelming.

The food is quite good, and the spa menu is broad, with services available on an expanded schedule. The rooms are good, too. Getting around is a bit tricky, though, since the place is a maze of several buildings.

The views and surroundings are beautiful, but the rooms were a letdown. While my partner was closing the curtains on our first night, a huge centipede was there and nearly got on him. Awful experience. The hotel only agreed to move us to another room. The beds are uncomfortable, and the rooms are noisy.

The property’s lovely, with great decor and atmosphere. Daily activities like yoga and meditation are included in the room rate, which is a nice plus, since similar hotels charge extra. Breakfast was pretty good as well. The room was okay but needs work: the curtains don’t work or close fully, the cheap shower curtain doesn’t do its job, and the shower floor isn’t comfortable under bare feet. It holds moisture, which could be unhealthy.
