Hotel Infinity

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The garden is lovely, and you can see the lake from the rooms and shared areas. It's practically across the street from Las Velas, which is very handy if you're going to an event there.

We spent New Year's here and left really disappointed. The "banquet" ended up being a buffet, and the price was far too high for what they served. It didn't even include a glass of water. They offered us soda, but there wasn't enough in cans, so we got it in a glass. When they saw we were unhappy, they charged us 10 pesos. The music was fine, but there wasn't much atmosphere or organization. They hadn't prepared enough grapes for everyone who had booked, and we didn't get any. They wouldn't let us bring in anything for our own consumption, and sold us a bottle of wine at their own steep price. The food itself was tasty, which was the one thing that saved the evening. They didn't replace our room towels over two days, and the shower water was cold the whole time. The pool was just as icy. I know they're adjusting after a change in management, but they still have a lot to do to organize a good event and provide good service. I'd only return for the quiet, and even then it would be my last choice.

For the price, I expected a better room. The windows and mirror were terribly dirty, there was a sewage smell all night, and the sink water had residue from old, rusty pipes. The air conditioning was so noisy that I had to keep the TVs blasting. At the pool, there weren't enough loungers and umbrellas for everyone who wanted them, and having to compete for a spot was unpleasant.

The night watchman and the rest of the staff were genuinely friendly, and he handled our friends’ room problems with a great attitude, even moving them to a better room. That was a bright spot in an otherwise unpleasant stay. We picked the place for its spot across from Las Velas Garden, but the cleanliness and upkeep were disappointing. Our friends had to change rooms twice: first because the door wouldn’t open, then because of yellow-stained pillows, several burnt-out bulbs, and serious dampness behind the headboard. The location doesn’t justify the price. For the condition of the facilities, I think it should cost no more than $500 pesos a night. Paying more felt outrageous.
