Hotel Ticuán

Last night, a security guard gave me a hard time for parking in the disabled spot, even though I have a placard. He acted like he was calling the police and was extremely rude. He said the space was reserved for the hotel, but the parking is public. I'm pretty sure he was angry because I didn't tip him.

The location made it easy to walk to shops and cultural spots, and breakfast had a good selection and quality. Our room was roomy, modern, and clean. The staff were warm and helpful, too, with restaurant and local attraction suggestions whenever we needed them. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for business or leisure.

I stayed because a couple of friends were there, and I ended up really liking it. The hotel is affordable and clean, with a great parking area right beside it. There's a restaurant on the ground floor. It's got a nice old fashioned charm.

The bar and restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the place was very quiet. We never heard other rooms, either walking back or once inside. My only complaint was the tub jets brought some stuff into the water, maybe lavender or something, which made it seem like the tub hadn't been cleaned properly.
