Hostal y Camping Villa Mercedes

We first booked one night, ended up staying a few weeks, left, then came back for another two. We tried both the room with three matrimonial beds and the one with a single matrimonial bed. Mercedes, Ely and Nicolas made everything easy and comfortable, and gave us a very competitive price. Both room types had AC, a fridge and fast wifi, which mattered to us since we work while traveling. The large cabana has its own kitchen and bathroom. The two upstairs bedrooms share a tiny kitchenette and bathroom, and we were glad to have them. We loved waking up in the cabana, with its vintage Mexican look and colors. Mercedes is only a phone call away for recommendations, and Ely is right next door if you need anything. Villa Mercyta is what made us enjoy our time in Tizimín in the first place. The hostal is on a quieter street a little away from the center, but the market is only a 10 minute walk and there's a bakery nearby. There's also a "Marquesita" place right next door, handy for trying that delicious Yucatan specialty. The garden is really pretty, with coconut and palm trees. A new pool was due to open soon, which would make the place even more appealing in the summer heat, and five brand new rooms were being built beside it.
