We had a king bed, a small fridge, and a nice balcony overlooking the city. The hotel was very clean, and there's plenty nearby, including restaurants and stores. Staff were kind and attentive. It's a great little boutique-style hotel. I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

The hotel felt secure and safe, with nice rooms and a really comfortable king bed on the second floor. The WiFi speed test came in over 100 mB per second. From our door, we had a beautiful view of the 15223 foot mountain Pico de Águila. The town center north of here has lots to see, while there's less to the south. We heard the town is quite dangerous, so we stayed indoors after dark, though we walked both ways to the bus station. It was a great, safe place to stay.

We paid 819 pesos for two people and two double beds. The room was comfortable, and it was great that they let us park our motorcycles in their small secure lot. Our window faced the restaurant's vent fan downstairs, which made a horrible racket whenever it was running. The fan needs a new bearing. The TV hangs from the ceiling over the couch, but you can't view it directly from either bed or the couch. There was a small fridge, which was super handy. The place is hard to find because there's no sign outside. It's the door to the right of the restaurant.

We got in without a reservation on a weekday, though I'd recommend booking ahead since the hotel is small. Our second-floor room, Roble, had a mini kitchen and dinner table. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of blankets if you like to bundle up. It was affordable, clean, and spacious, with safe parking for your vehicle and free WiFi that worked great.

For a budget stay, it's hard to find better options in the city. The room was basic but clean, and there was plenty of hot water. The rooms aren't heated, but there are lots of blankets to keep you warm. Just remember it's not a high-end hotel, so the walls are a little thin and the place can be hard to spot from the street. Service is always polite and helpful. If you want more privacy, one of the suites will probably still cost less than a night at the Holiday Inn or Fiesta.
