The hotel was clean and seemed secure. There was usually someone watching the entrance and parking area, and the room card only let you use the elevator for your floor. The AC worked well too. Service was the weak point. I stayed one night, left for a couple of days, then came back, and both times there were no towels in the room until I asked. Front desk staff seemed reluctant to help at check-in and check-out, and nobody offered to handle our luggage. The breakfast attendant would disappear for long stretches and wasn't very attentive. It wasn't a bad stay, but much better service would make a big difference.

I love Marriot enough to be an ambassador elite member, so this stay was a real disappointment. I was born in Torreon and had brought food for relatives who hadn't been back in years. I left the bag with reception after they said they could keep it in their fridge, but when I checked out today, it wasn't cold. The food is now spoiled. I wish they'd told me they couldn't refrigerate it, so I could have used my cooler and ice or found a hotel with a fridge after asking on the first day. The website says rooms have mini fridges, but neither of the two I booked had one. There were other problems too. The AC didn't work, and by the third day the heat was awful. The phone had no cord, so I used my own phone to call reception, but got no answer and had to go there myself. On the third day we had no towels until I'd asked twice, and they didn't arrive until 9:45 pm.

It's near the mall and not too far from Santos Laguna's stadium, so the location is convenient. The rooms are okay, neither particularly good nor bad, and the service is about what you'd expect.
